Great Benefits for Race Participants
We’re pleased to announce Richmond Balance as our newest Run to the River Gold Sponsor. Richmond Balance is a state-of-the-art fitness facility located in historic Shockoe Bottom, offering personal training, dynamic aerobics classes, extensive cardio equipment, weight and resistance training, an Excursion Program, nutrition programs and even in-home healthy cooking classes. Richmond Balance is offering several new benefits for Run to the River race registrants (it doesn’t matter whether you sign up to run or walk the race), including:
- Work out for free at Richmond Balance during staffed hours from 10am-5pm on weekends during the training and up until race day.
- Receive 10% off gym memberships at Richmond Balance
- Receive 10% off core classes, which supplement a running program. Core classes help to build overall strength, specifically core strength, balance, and flexibility which helps to improve running performance.
Plus, if you register for the Run to the River as a fundrunner — that’s a good Samaritan with sneakers — you’ll be eligible to win a one-year membership and a personal training session at Richmond Balance.
